(Disclaimer: Glass Block Professionals will alway personally confirm the measurements of any client before a job is installed. Our desire for a high quality of control would never allow us to not be as precise and accurate as possible. This is merely a guide for customers to get a basic idea of pricing).
To determine the size of your window, you must measure the opening of the window. Once you have your window dimensions, divide each number by 8. That will tell you how many blocks your window size will be.
For example, if your window is 32'x28', you would divide 32 by 8 which equals 4. That means your window will be 4 blocks wide. In the case of 8 not dividing equally into a number, such as 28, you simply round up (always up!).
28 divided by 8 equals 3.5. Rounding up will give us 4. Since the window will be 4 blocks high x 4 blocks wide, you will have a 16 block window.
Once you have determined the size of your window, we will be able to give you a
fairly accurate estimate in regards to pricing. Feel free to call us any time for a
free estimate and consultation.
